SIMApro Real Estate Event - Matterport Scan

Matterport attended the SIMApro real estate event in Madrid this week. As one of the exhibitors and a speaker on the PropTech 2020 panel discussion we thought it only right to produce a 3D scan of the space around our stand and the main stage where the panel discussion took place.  

The scan was taken first thing in the morning so there are a few exhibitors present but not the main 'hustle and bustle' of the day. During peak times the whole area scanned was packed with delegates looking to explore the latest trends in real estate and learn about new technologies.

Matterport 3D models have multiple uses for exhibitions, trade shows and events. A scan of a prior show gives exhibitors and visitors a better idea of what to expect and allows potential exhibitors to see the show layout and prepare for getting their stands built & organised. Show speakers can see the stage and auience set-up and sponsors can understand the location and value of key sponsorship placement. Important event areas, such as VIP areas, can be highlighted and tagged with relevant content such as a video from prior shows embedded directly in the 3D model. Showcasing a cocktail reception for VIP buyers might be the type of video you would want to imbed.
